Tayrona Park on the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta

Just a quick browse, thru the latest trip I made to Tayrona Park on the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta off the Atlantic Coast. I also took along with me a couple of friends among them a few fellas from Europe, and as you can see from the photos below they just couldn't get enought of it...

Tayrona Park is a one hour drive from Santa Marta. This National Park is the most visited in Colombia by both, locals and foreign turists. Comprising more than 15 diferent beaches with their respectively unique settings, the visitor has a miriad of options to choose from. Acomodations range from the very basic (hamacs or tents) to fully equipped air conditioned cabins. Inside this park you can engage in all sorts of recreational activities. Among them: snorkling, trekking, sunbathing, and if you're up to it there's also a nudist beach, you can visit at anytime of day.

There's also a number of fully equipped houses for rent. Among them a lovely beach front 3 bedroom villa with a glorious view of the surrounding area.
